We do not limit the amount of stain we use for your project. We use as much stain as your fence requires to achieve the high quality look we promise all of our clients. When we dispatch our crews we send them with ample amounts of stain so they never run out on the job. Experience tells us that we generally get a coverage rate of 90 square feet per gallon on new board on board fences that are built with rough cedar. Side by side fences generally take 100 square feet per gallon. Unless requested by a customer we always use Bakers Gray Away products from Texas Wood Products to ensure we have a consistent and long lasting result.

A wood fence with metal posts will last approximately 15-20 years with proper maintenance.

We will let you know about those phases ahead of time so we you can make arrangements to be there.
> My neighborhood HOA has restrictions. Do you follow these guidelines or rules?
We rely on you to inform us of any guidelines set forth by your HOA. While many HOA’s are familiar with our work they do not keep us apprised of their requirements and design specifications. It is the responsibility of the homeowner to know these guidelines before hand so we can insure our design is compliant.
> What about a city permit?
The municipalities in North Texas generally require the contractor on record to apply for all permits on the project and in most cases do not allow the homeowner to pull the permits, unless they are acting as the general contractor on the job. Not all work requires a permit, and cities are constantly changing their building standards. Contact your local municipality to familiarize yourself with the building requirements and deed restrictions surrounding your property prior to the design phase.

Every kind of wood will shrink, warp and cup over time. Western Red Cedar has a very unique characteristic in that it is more resistant to shrinking, warping, and cupping. Western Red Cedar is also naturally resistant to insects and termites.
